Implementation Process
Implementation of the recommendations from the Business Model Review have commenced. Through the support of the Business Model Implementation Team , 39% of recommendations are complete as a result of the implementation of the new organisational structure and embeddng new governance systems and processes. The remaining recommendations are allocated to relevant Directorates to implement.
Business Model Oversight Committee
The Business Model Oversight Committee has been established to oversee the effectiveness and quality of the implementation of the remaining recommendations. The committee will monitor and review the status of the implementation of the BMR and ensure the benefits realised from the Review continue to directly support the Department's strategic and corporate objectives and wider Government priorities. The Oversight Committee will hold its inaugural meeting in May and will meet quarterly until June 2006. The Committee members include:

- Mr Neil Whittaker, Deputy Director-General (Strategic and Corporate Services)
- Ms Bronwyn Story, Executive Director, Ministerial and Executive Services
- Ms Rachel Hunter, Director-General, Justice and Attorney-General
- Mr David Smith, Assistant Under-Treasurer, Economic Performance, Queensland Treasury
- Mr Peter McInnes, President, Queensland Community Corrections Board
- Mr Jim Kennedy, AO CBE
