Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is committed to strengthening community safety and crime prevention through the humane containment of prisoners, and the supervision and surveillance of offenders in the community.
QCS also delivers targeted rehabilitation programs and intervention services to offenders in correctional centres and those being supervised in the community through the Probation and Parole Service.
Townsville Women’s Correctional Centre open days
North Queenslanders will have the chance to see life behind the razor wire when the $130 million, world-class Townsville Women’s Correctional Centre (TWCC) opens its gates for two community open days.
