What is an About Us?

About Us provides an overview and history of Corrective Services. It provides a corporate map of the department with links to the individual areas of the department for further information.

Where can I find any Vacancies?

Vacancies can be located by selecting the Employment navigation button. There is also information on how to apply for a position and documents required when submitting and application

What is the purpose of the (+) in the left hand navigation list?

The (+) indicates that there are extra sub items available from this link. Click on the plus and a drop down menu will appear. Select the item to view from the list.

Where can I obtain help with the site?

There is an Internet User Guide (PDF 141KB) available for your help or alternatively you can contact the DCS via Contact us.

How do I find the latest procedure?

All the current policies and procedures can be located via the Resources navigation button. This will show a drop down menu, then select the Procedures option.

How do I find the latest facts and statistics?

These can also be located via the Information navigation button. This will show a drop down menu, then select Facts and Stats from the list.

How do I provide Feedback?

Feedback can be submitted by filling out the contact form accessed by going to the Contact Us section via the navigiation bar in the top right-hand corner of the page.

How long will items stay on the Latest News? How do I access previous items?

Usually when an items provided for the Latest News section an end date is specified and the item will be removed to Previous News on that date. To access Previous News, click on the Previous News link on the Home Page and then select the date you require, this will give you a list of previous news items to select.

What do I do if I find an error on the Internet?

All errors can be reported to the DCS webmaster webmaster@correctiveservices.qld.gov.au.

How do I do a search across the whole site?

Type a key word into the box located at the top right of the page and click Search. This will provide you with a list of all references to the key word.

What is the Site Map?

The Site Map provides an overall picture of the Internet Site. It is list of all the information contained on the site. You can get to the main page for each section by clicking on the link under each of the drop downs ie Community Corrections.
