Arthur Gorrie and Borallon Correctional Centres Tender

On 25 October 2006, the Honourable Judy Spence, Minister for Police and Corrective Services announced that four companies would be invited to tender to manage and operate Queensland's two privately-run prisons, Borallon and Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centres. The four companies are:.

  • GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd;
  • GSL Australia Pty Ltd;
  • Management and Training Corporation Pty Ltd; and
  • Serco Australia Pty Limited.

QCS intends to release the Invitation to Tender Package to these invited tenderers on Monday 5 February 2007, with tenders likely to be due on 10 May 2007.
