Stakeholder Booklet
What is a business model?
A business model governs the way in which an organisation operates to achieve its objectives and deliver core business. It is the foundation on which an effective organisation is built.
The model governs how the organisation goes about its business in terms of corporate governance, leadership, performance monitoring, management, systems, processes and communication.
Of equal importance is that an effective business model establishes the basis on which the organisation will conduct its interactions with people - be they staff, external stakeholders or recipients of goods and services provided by the organisation.
