Code of Conduct

Queensland Corrective Services provides secure and appropriate corrective services to the State of Queensland. The public rightly expects that that we will deliver our responsibilities with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability.

The Code of Conduct is based on the following five ethics principles set out in the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994:

  • Respect for the law and system of government;
  • Respect for persons;
  • Integrity;
  • Diligence; and
  • Economy and efficiency.
